§ 07.01

The tenets

  1. 01
Capital is trust, denominated in dollars.

[Placeholder] Treat every dollar entrusted to us as a vote of confidence we must continually re-earn.

  2. 02
    Brevity is respect.

[Placeholder] Long memos hide weak thinking. Compress until the argument is unmistakable.

  3. 03
    Preparation is non-optional.

[Placeholder] Walking into a room unprepared is a violation of the standard. There is no exception.

  4. 04
    Disagree in writing.

[Placeholder] Dissent is welcomed, but it must be recorded. Verbal pushback that is not written down did not happen.

  5. 05
    Outcome over output.

[Placeholder] Activity is not progress. The only acceptable measure is the realized outcome.

  6. 06
    No theatrics.

[Placeholder] We do not perform. We work, we report, we move on.

§ 07.02

Applying the principles

[Placeholder] Worked examples of how each tenet resolves common operating conflicts.
